Guidelines

  • Ask questions, share what you're building, and help others when you can.
  • Half-finished projects are welcome. Cursed breadboard photos are especially welcome.
  • Keep conversations useful, respectful, and relevant to building with electronics.
  • Share what you know. Someone else might be stuck on exactly the problem you solved last week.
  • We encourage conversations around embedded systems, firmware, electronics, robotics, drones, IoT, hardware, and related technologies.
  • Members can share projects, ask technical questions, discuss tools and components, and exchange practical knowledge.
  • We encourage conversations about how AI is changing hardware engineering — what actually works, what doesn't, and what's worth exploring.
  • We discourage conversations that are unrelated to the community or that become needlessly divisive.
  • CoreVoice may host regular online and physical events, including webinars, hackathons, meet-ups, and hardware-building sessions.
  • Members may get opportunities to meet and learn from people who have actually built and shipped hardware.
  • The community may facilitate introductions for gigs, projects, hiring, collaborations, and other relevant opportunities.
  • This list may grow over time as the community evolves.
  • CoreVoice runs and manages the CoreElec community.
  • Members are responsible for contributing positively and helping maintain a useful community.
  • CoreVoice may appoint community members to help with moderation, events, or other community activities as the group grows.
  • CoreElec is open to people interested in building with electronics — from freshers and students to engineers, makers, and founders.
  • Most members are expected to be working in or around small and mid-size teams across embedded, robotics, drones, IoT, and related fields.
  • Members may join through the CoreElec community link.
  • CoreVoice may work with relevant hardware and deep-tech companies to support CoreElec events and community activities.
  • Sponsored sessions or brand integrations may be part of the community from time to time.
  • Sponsorship should add value to the community and its members.
  • We collect basic information such as name, mobile number, email address, LinkedIn URL, and company or institution details when members join or register for community activities.
  • Members may share further details within the group. Members are advised to be mindful of what they choose to share.
  • CoreVoice employees are bound by confidentiality obligations, but members and admins are not. Please exercise caution when sharing personal or professional information.
  • Before sharing another member's contact or other information outside the community, members are requested to take permission from the concerned person.
