CoreFounders
CommunityCoreFounders is a curated and professionally managed closed-door community for tech and deep-tech founders, run by CoreVoice. Our goal is to support each other with real human advice and help.
Guidelines
- All members are encouraged to engage in the group positively, to give and take.
- Members may keep the signal-to-noise ratio high, i.e. keep the random banter low, respect each other's time and attention.
- Members may offer human insights, not AI-generated ones.
- All members are requested to attend events, virtual and physical, as per what is convenient and useful to them.
- We encourage themes around engineering, product, sales, marketing, org building, talent acquisition, culture, ecosystem, and founder care. This list will evolve over time.
- We discourage long discourses on themes which are not business-related, and where opinions are divisive, like politics, social causes, etc.
- Admins may host regular virtual and physical events. Managers will support with logistics.
- Managers provide: Support for events; AI-based conversation summaries; community value reports; limited concierge services such as 1:1 introductions; This list may grow with time.
- Super-admin: Amrut is the permanent super-admin; Rights: Super-admin may appoint or remove admins and managers;
- Admin: Any member may wish to be an admin. Admins are responsible for maintaining a positive vibe and keeping the community productive overall. Rights: They can off-board members.
- Managers: Select CoreVoice staff will fulfil the role of managers. They're responsible for onboarding members and providing common services.
- Founders in tech/deep-tech are encouraged to join this group. As of now we are not permitting service providers, incubators, investors, etc (unless they are and/or have been founders in tech / deep-tech earlier).
- Founders may fill out the member form for entry.
- The form scores points based on the current qualification criteria, detailed in the form itself.
- Newer founders who haven't crossed the points threshold yet can instead qualify on a vouch: a referral from 2 existing members, or backing from a recognized accelerator/incubator.
- If either path is met, managers will onboard you.
- A status change from founder to non-founder leads to offboarding, after a 6-month delay.
- Persistent non-engagement leads to a notice, followed by offboarding 3 months after that notice.
- With cause — toxic behavior (rude, offensive, rage-baiting, harassment), proven fraud, or poor ethical practice, whether inside the group or 1:1 between members — leads to a notice and offboarding within 7 days if no corrective action is taken.
- Members may offer to sponsor events, at cost. They may not earn revenue from sponsorship or ticket sales of community events.
- Managers may seek external sponsorship for events.
- We collect name, mobile number, email address, LinkedIn URL, and company details at entry/onboarding. Members may share further details within the group.
- CoreVoice employees are bound by NDA to keep details private, but members and admins aren't. Members are advised to be cautious about what they share.
- Before sharing contact or other information from within the group to outsiders, members are requested to take permission from the concerned person(s).
